Our very best wines are bottled as Platinum. It’s our reminder that the choices we make have to add up to one better than gold. Made from clone 877, the Platinum Syrah was cane-pruned and cropped to under 4 tons per acre. Hand-harvested exclusively from the Bartsch Vineyard in Osoyoos, we aged the 2007 vintage 18 months in 100% French oak from Coopers Saury, Remond, François Frères and Darguad & Jaegle. Without these details, our Syrah wouldn’t be Platinum. And the results show in every bottle. On that, you have our word.

Winemaker's Notes

This Syrah was sourced from a single vineyard located in the south Okanagan at Osoyoos. Aged for 15 months in French oak, the 2007 Platinum Syrah is enjoyable now and will continue to improve with further cellar aging.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of dusty black pepper and sweet, grilled red pepper. Flavours on the palate include fruit cake, chocolate, coffee and red current with a hint of wild berry fruits. With firm tannins and mouth filling finesse, this wine will cellar well for many years to come.

Culinary Notes

Roast beef and grilled lamb will pair perfectly with this Syrah. Try medium to firm cheeses.
